Submission Guidelines


The Programme Committee will peer-review all proposals and reserves the right to adapt or restructure proposals submitted to ensure an interesting and compelling programme.

  • Presentations should be roughly 30-45 minutes in length, including a question-and-answer period. All presentations will be chaired by a member of the programme committee.
  • Panel sessions should be roughly 45-60 minutes in length, including a question and answer period. Proposals for panels should include the topic, three to four potential panelists (name and role) and proposed format (e.g. Q&A, short presentations or both). A moderator may be suggested in the proposal; however, the programme committee reserves the right to select another moderator.

Proceedings for the Open Standards Forum will be published online. Authors/presenters should arrange for any necessary releases for publication prior to submission of their proposal (please refer to the release at the end of the submission form).

Speaker substitutions are not permitted, except in the case of an emergency and are subject to Programme Committee approval. All selected speakers will receive a complimentary registration to attend the event.


  • To Submit a Proposal:

    Please send you proposal to: events@oasis-open.org.

    You will need the following information:

  • Full contact details (name, affiliation, email, phone, postal address) of the presenter acting as the primary contact
  • Full list of authors and/or additional presenters, if any
  • Brief biography (one paragraph) for all presenters/authors
  • A short characterization of the presentation, e.g. listing one of the four
  • Submission areas it falls into, and optionally the submission items within the area.
  • An abstract between 500 and 2000 outlining the subject, title, and summarizing the key points of your proposal, panel discussion, or tutorial.

All submissions will be acknowledged.
