    Desktop Alert (DTA) is the new standard for network-centric emergency mass notification systems used by the United States National Guard nationwide.     1. DM-OPEN - message broker offering non-proprietary interfaces for exchanging Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) Messages, Non-Weather Emergency Messages (NWEM), and Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL-DE) Messages. EDXL-DE messages transport NIEM IEPD defined messages as well as EDXL HAVE and Resource messages.
    2. DM-Framework - user interface to access messages routed through DM-OPEN and tools to facilitate real time collaboration and communication in response to incidents and disasters.

    Together they support responders by providing transport and visual access for NIEM and OASIS messages within the DM architecture and cross-network/system shareability.

Its CellCast Aggregator/GatewayTM provides the functionality and interoperability required for CMAS and continues to be used in the longest running cell broadcasting demonstration in the US. CellCast technology has been successfully tested overseas and will soon be deployed in several countries.
