The OASIS Emergency Interoperability Member Section plans to organize an “Emergency Standards Round-up” on the exhibit floor of the Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo (EMEX), held in conjunction with the annual conference of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). The “Round-up” is designed to highlight companies showcasing applications and tools in support of the Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL) suite of standards, and to provided those companies with additional visibility during the event.

Participation is open to all companies that meet the below criteria.

Participation Criteria

Participation is open to all confirmed EMEX exhibitors. Participating companies must have products that support specific versions of the OASIS Emergency Management Standards, including CAP, EDXL-DE, EDXL-HAVE, and EDXL-RM.

Round-up Format

Participants will operate out of their own EMEX exhibit space. Details on securing an exhibit space may be found online.

An OASIS booth, stationed on the show floor, will focus on “Round-up” promotion. EMEX attendees will be encourage to begin their “Round-up” experience at the OASIS booth, where they will be handed a “Round-up Booklet” listing information on all the participating companies. OASIS will work with IAEM to promote the “Round-up” to their attendees. Attendees will be directed to stop by each participating company’s booth to receive a raffle ticket and invitation to our special reception. Each participating company will receive a portion of the raffle & invitation tickets to distribute at their individual booth spaces. The raffle tickets will be collected and an IPAD drawing will take place during a special “Round-up Happy Hour,” in honor of our “Round-up” participating companies.

Participation Fee

A participation fee of 400 USD (OASIS members) and 600 USD (non-members) will be allocated to cover the costs associated with the Round-up. Each confirmed participant will receive all the benefits outlined below.


The following benefits will be provided to each Round-up participating company:

  • Logo placement on the IAEM/EMEX attendee announcement card (distributed to IAEM attendees)
  • Company logo & booth # on Round-up banner located in the OASIS booth
  • Option to include company collateral in the OASIS booth
  • Company logo and brief company overview in the “Round-up Booklet” (including a map with booth locations)
  • Company logo on “Round-up Happy Hour” banner (on display during the reception)
  • IPAD raffle tickets and “Round-up Happy Hour” invitations, to be distributed to at your booth location
  • Access to the OASIS booth attendee list
